2. 19th July 2009: CMAK facilitated field visit to Chitradurga for ASCI team for the purpose of National Urban Water Awards 2009. General interaction, Site visits, Technical interaction, spot data collection etc. were held during that day. Representatives from CMC, DUDC, Inner wheel Club, Rotary Club, Educational Institutions, Mutts, Home Guards, MYRADA, Nirmithi Kendra, Nehru Yuva Kendra, JSYS and City Councilors were present and interacted with ASCI's team and promised about safe guarding of existing ancient water bodies.

3. 6th & 27th October and 17th November 2009 – CMAK facilitated interaction session in three batches for 100 members delegate from Tamil Nadu comprising of elected representatives, managerial staff and technical staff. In these sessions, delegates were provided insight of Solid waste management, best practices documentation, service level benchmarking and non revenue water quantification projects of CMAK and the status of services in Karnataka.

4. 13th to 16th September 2009: CMAK participated in the ICMA’s 95th Annual Conference held at Montreal, Quebec, Cannada. Mr. Bharat Lal Meena, Commissioner, BBMP and President, CMAK and Mr. K.S. Raikar, Commissioner, Mysore CC and CMAK member represented CMAK at this event.
