Workshops: Leadership Lecture Series VIII & Annual General Body Meeting 2010
CMAK Organized Leadership Lecture Series VIII on 14th May 2010 at J. N. Tata Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Malleshwaram, Bangalore - 12. 800 participates from various ULBs across the state comprising of elected representatives, Commissioner, Chief Officer, Engineers and other official participated in this event. & CMAK Annual General Body Meeting 7th & 8th. The Leadership Lecture was given by Shri. Sai Bharati, Chairman from Alandur Municipality on PPP in building Urban Infrastructure.

Minister for Urban Development, Law & Parliamentary Affairs, Government of

A Workshop on Integrated Rain Water Harvesting (IRWH)
Two days workshop on Integrated Rainwater Harvesting was conducted by Mysore City Corporation in association with CMA, Karnataka on 222nd and 23rd of February 2010. The workshop was held at the Diamond Jubilee Hall, National Institute of Engineers, Mysore. At the inaugural ceremony, many dignitaries including Mayor, Dy.Mayor, Councilors, Superintending Engineer, MCC, Senior citizens and others spoke over the occasion and had put a stress on the need of Water conservation & Rainwater Harvesting at the moment. Many of them did say that they are intending to have RWH installations at their living place and then put efforts in propagating the technology. Read more..
